This is a wonderful example of a good claret from an excellent vintage. Bottle age has produced a succulent, velvety texture. Blackcurrant and red fruit dominate the palate with lovely refreshing acidity and superb tannins. Big wine with lots of body, very ripe black damsons, plums with a subtle smoke. The wine is black in the colour, fruit aromas explode on the nose. 80/100 point by Wine Enthusiast.
